Study On Indicator Design And Application Of Information Systems Based On Balanced Scorecard

With the development of information technology, how to better apply informationsystems is the problem that enterprises must consider. A good information systemplays an important role on enterprises survival and development. The followingproblems are becoming increasingly widespread concerned in the business communityand academia. That is whether investment in information systems can strengthen themarket competitiveness of enterprises, whether it can really enhance the level ofproductivity, whether it can bring corresponding investment returns to enterprise.The construction of information systems，which involves in many enterprisedepartments and needs correspondingly large investment，needs a relatively longperiod. Therefore, enterprises managers, suppliers, customers and even governmentand other stakeholders all have an urgent need of timely and objective informationsystems evaluation. All kinds of traditional information systems performanceevaluation systems have their own limitations. We will not be able to examine thecomprehensive benefits to enterprises of information systems from a globalperspective and strategic height. For this reason, this article will focus on study anddiscuss how to evaluate enterprise information systems in a integrated andcomprehensive wayFirstly, the thesis introduces the concept of the Balanced Scorecardcomprehensively, analyzing its theoretical model in-depth, constructing informationsystems performance evaluation system based on it. On this basis, the thesis describesthe practical application of the Balanced Scorecard in the IT field, indicating theavailability and applicability of IT Balanced Scorecard in enterprises informatizationmanagement practice.Secondly, the thesis in-depth studies the basic principles of the BalancedScorecard and the possibility that it is applied to the enterprises information systemsperformance evaluation. Furthermore，the performance evaluation index system ofenterprises information systems is built on basis of IT Balanced Scorecard.Finally, the index system and the evaluation model are applied to a largeenterprise. The thesis evaluates the specific situations and weakness of these enterprise information systems in multi-angle and multi-level way, putting forwardthe corresponding improvements.
