Study On China Export Credit Insurance

Export credit insurance is a common international practice adopted by nearly all government in supporting export and preventing payment risks, and is also one of the trade promotion measures in line with rules of the World Trade Organization. With a history of some 100 years in the world, export credit insurance was originated in Europe at the beginning of last century and expands rapidly in developed countries after the World War 2.Along with the economic growth and the growth of world trade; many developing countries have established their export credit insurance organizations since 1960s. To date, export credit insurance has become one of the most important means of many countries in supporting export.Comparing with the history of foreign export credit insurance system, the history of Chinese export credit insurance is indeed short and it can't meet the need of export. In the thesis, I firstly introduce something about the export credit and the international export credit insurance; Secondly, I have a comprehensive introduction about our country's construction of export credit insurance system, besides, I point out that there are many problems existing in it; Lastly, this thesis give some suggestions for the perfection of our country's export credit insurance system, wishing that can do something for the construction, furthermore promoting Chinese export. Moreover, the thesis introduce the function of Chinese export credit insurance about how to guarantee overseas project contract from the view of the project management.
