Export credit insurance is an international trade and international finance as an important cross-cutting economy. As a support for their important means of foreign trade development, export credit insurance has always been valued by governments. Many countries have established a relatively perfect system of export credit insurance. China's export credit insurance started late, and since 2001, before entering the stage of specialization, and therefore government regulation, management of the insurance system and awareness of export enterprises and foreign countries so there are some gaps. With the deepening of economic globalization, China's national economy and foreign trade were major changes in the environment, such as export tax rebates and customs reform, foreign exchange reserves continued to improve, long-term appreciation of the RMB exchange rate. Therefore, how in the new trading environment the effective use of export credit insurance policy tools to guide China's foreign trade development, in front of us to become a major issue.The first part is the introduction, in the second part of export credit insurance are outlined, followed by introduction of the export credit insurance features, operating principles and national successful business model, then export credit insurance and export factoring, general commercial insurance were compared. The third part of the export credit insurance in our development process and the status quo. Part IV and Part V of the export credit insurance are two levels at the macro and micro impact on China's export trade, and export credit insurance in the amount of which will be China's export trade volume with the empirical analysis done between the sixth and seventh parts parts are present in China's export trade in insurance issues and policies to address these issues and recommendations.
