| In recent years,the economic of Henan Province has developed rapidly. However,as the province of largest population,the added value of service industries to the GDP accounts for only 30 percent 15 percentage points less than the national standard and 10 percent less than the national average.In order to change this situation,accelerating the development of the service sector has become a major and long-term strategic task.There are many ways to be used,but the rational use of FDI to promote development of the service industries is important.But for a long time,the foreign investment in Henan Province is not much and mainly concentrated in the manufacturing,the proportion of foreign investments in services is low.However,with strategic policy of the central rising in place,the strategic position of regional markets and regional advantage is increasing in Henan Province,and it is time for foreigners investing in the inland provinces.How to strengthen the services' attraction to FDI and how to promote the development of service have become long-term development issues in Henan Province.Through organizing and summarizing the literature,this paper concludes that many provinces whose services developed rapdily have done a lot of study on how to promote the rational utilization of FDI to develop the service industries,but the studie(?) on Henan Province are lack.In this paper,we will compare and analyse the utilization of FDI in services of Henan with that of Guangdong Province by model accordding to the influential factors of FDI in Henan Province,and study how to take measures to reasonably use of FDI and develop the service industries.This paper has two innovations in contents and methodology:1.I deeply analyse the differences on the using of FDI between the Henan Province and the Guangdong Province according to the twa variances model.By analyzing the differences of use of FDI in services between the two provinces and 10 major variables,I establish the regression equation and have the factors affecting the differences between Guangdong Province and Henan Province, and provide direction on how to strengthen the use of FDI in service.2.By using the state-space model I analyse the correlation between using SFDI and the growth of the services in Henan Province.In order to completely portraying the impact of FDI on the services,this paper analyses the correlation between using SFDI and the growth of the services in Henan Province by using the state-space model.This paper is divided into three main parts,in the first part,I build a state-space model to analyse the correlation between SFDI and the development of services,and concludes that FDI is the important factor impacting the development of the service in Henan Province and the influences of FDI annually changed,at the same time I theoretically analyse FDI in services of Henan Province and find the existing problems and the urgency of rational use of FDI in the services in Henan Province.In the second part,I study the impact of FDI in Henan Province using multiple regressions by empirical analysis,and I systematically analyse the impact of each factor using the data between 1992 and 2006 in Henan Province. According to the difference between Guangdong Province and Henan Province and the ten main vriables,I build a model and find the main factors causing the gap between the two provinces on FDI,then I compare the advantages and disadvantages of using FDI in services in Henan Province.In the third part,I give suggestions on how to take measures and how to make full use of the factors to develop the services industries using FDI. |
