To survive in the turbulent competitive environment, companies have to continuously keep their competitive advantages. Continuous Improvement has become the eternal subject of companies who buck for development since 1990s. It is a pity that a lot of the continuous improvement efforts have ended in failure. On contrast, those who with strong organizational learning capability can develop their continuous improvement program successfully. So this paper studies on the influence of organizational learning upon continuous improvement process according to the above phenomena.Based on the basic theories of continuous improvement and organizational learning, this paper deeply discusses the relationship between the two concepts on the aspect of conception, framework and the type and level of activities. By analyzing the problems encountered during the implementation process of continuous improvement, and by comparing with Japan's continuous improvement experience spread in other countries especially Toyota Production System successfully implemented in China, this paper expatiates the inevitability, necessity and significance of starting organizational learning during the continuous improvement process.This paper uses SPSS tools such as Cluster Analysis, Factor Analysis, ANOVA and so on to demonstrate the influence of organizational learning on continuous improvement process. The result indicates that organizational learning has a significant effect on improving inner management efficiency as well as outer relationship.At last this paper gives some advice about that companies should consciously foster organizational learning capabilities according to their own developing demands during the implementation process of continuous improvement.
