When the business enterprise be placed in a kind of increasingly complicated and dynamic environment, the urgent matter is to look for a measure to promote the competition abilities, and keeping continuously. It will decide the development of enterprise if the management of the enterprise can adapt itself to this situation. This thesis tries to solve this by the establishment of the continuous improvement mechanism.At present, Chinese economy has not finished industrialization, but then have to face the information-based challenge; china has not used to the market economy, then we have to face the challenge of the globalization; and the enterprises have to face this changeable era, although they have not acquired management. In this urgent case, china enterprises need a measure to overcome these difficulties. Continuous improvement mechanism is just the thing can help, especially on the basis that it covers all the staff, all aspects and all processes.In this named "almost change is changing" era, buyers' market, hiper-competition, the knowledge-based economy change the enterprises' environment a lot from market, competition and the primary resources, etc. These three varieties lead the same result that the importance of the adaptability is increasing increasingly. This is also why an enterprise needs continuous improvement.Then this thesis carries on going deep into the definition of continuous improvement. Comparing with the 2000 version ISO9000s and Kaizen of Japanese enterprises, the author give the definition of continuous improvement in this thesis.Owing to the importance of continuous improvement, the business enterprise needs to build up a mechanism to assure the execution of continuous improvement smoothly, to make continuous improvement a kind of function of the business enterprise. This thesis pays much attention on the continuous improvement mechanism and tries to answer how to establish this mechanism in an enterprise. In the end, this thesis has introduces the tools of the improvement.This thesis has proved the necessity of the continuous improvement mechanism, and illustrates the very mechanism from three aspects: the motivation mechanism of the continuous improvement, the organization and operation mechanism of continuous improvement. In addition, this thesis gets two conclusions: in today's increasingly changeable environment, in order to acquire the competitive advantage the enterprise needs continuous improvement, especially for Chinese enterprises; second, enterprises need a mechanism of continuous improvement to make continuous improvement a kind of ability of the organization.
