Research Into The Sustainable Development Of Jiangsu Industry From The Perspective Of Resources Environment

The idea of sustainable development was concluded based on the experience and lesson between global development and resources environment. It's also the choice for our future development. It's becoming an urgent issue all over the world that how to control the population, how to make good use of resources, and how to protect the ecological environment, to realize the economic sustainable development.This article studies the industrial development in Jiangsu basing on resources environment and sustainable development. It consists of five parts as follows.Partâ… : Brief introduction about formation and development of Sustainable Development Theory and its practice in China. It states the definition of Sustainable development, Sustainable Economic Development and Industrial Sustainable Development, and, demonstrates the character and tendency of the industrial development and the function of the industrial policy.Partâ…¡: Discussion about the development of Jiangsu industry, with empirical research about the THREE STAGES history of Jiangsu industrial development and its contribution to Jiangsu industrial development, and the change of Jiangsu industrial formation.Partâ…¢: Stating about the theoretical results of the Resources Bearing Capability study, and the principle of land resources bearing capability and ecological footprint method. It is reported that there is grave ecological deficit existed in Jiangsu Province after interring the ecological footsteps and bearing capability. And then, I researched the situation of land supply in Jiangsu under ecological deficit. It has generally introduced about the way of learning relative resources bearing capability and empirically researched this capability of Jiangsu Province according to the standard of relative resources bearing capability commonly used in China, finding that Jiangsu relative economic resources bearing capability tends to rise, and is under such rich situation from beginning to end, which is higher than relative land resources bearing capability, contributing more than land resources for comprehensive bearing capability. I elaborated the land bearing capacity of Jiangsu and thus made suggestion for the sustainable development of Jiangsu province.Partâ…£: Studying the water resources usage status, environment pollution status which is related to rapid economic growth and the characters of relevant industries in Jiangsu, then I made my suggestion for environment protection policy. According to the connection between the consumption of energy and the rise of GDP, I researched the environment bearing capability of Jiangsu Province, which made clear that not only a few resources she has, but she also consumed unlimitedly. What's more, the consumption on energy keeps rising quickly and the efficient of using energy descended. Further more, taking the industry (main consumption of energy) as key point, I analyzed the relationship between Jiangsu's industrial economy development and energy consumption and the problem existing. Meanwhile I talked about the industrial policy of how to descend the consumption and save the energy in Jiangsu at the same time.Partâ…¤: Conclusion of the thesis basing on the real situation of Jiangsu province, I further suggested to improve the modernization of Jiangsu rural area, strengthen the new mode of industrialization, and achieve a good balance between manufacture industry and service business. I hope it will be good for the development of Jiangsu industry.
