Study On The Relative Resource Bearing Capacity And Sustainable Development In Fujian

Under the guidance of the theories of sustainable development, sociology, economics and other disciplines, studied the resources bearing capacity and sustainable development of Fujian, followed the principle of combining to the qualitative and quantitative, used the methods of comparative analysis and the combining to the theoretical analysis and experience. This paper used the ideas and calculation method of the relative resources bearing capacity, to dynamic analysis and predict the relative bearing capacity of resources of Fujian, by research and analysis the relative bearing capacity of resources of Fujian, drawed the existing problems in sustainable development in Fujian Province, then the article puted forward some feasible measures to the sustainable development in Fujian Province. The paper included five sectors, as followings:The first part was foreword, mainly introduced the background of choice this topics and the significance to research; the research methods and technology line; the overview in this area research both at home and abroad and existing problems; some related theoretical knowledge; the definition of the related concept; the objectives of this study; the key issues to be resolved.The second part mainly introduced the research methods including the selection of indicators; the calculation methods about relative resource bearing capacity and the sources of the documents used in this study.The third part was to dynamic analysis the relative resources bearing capacity of Fujian. Calculated the relative bearing capacity of land resources,relative bearing capacity of water resources;relative bearing capacity of economic resources and synthetic carrying capacity and its change process of Fujian from 1996 to 2005.The study results showed:(1)Contrasted the resource bearing capacity in Fujian with the nationwide. The relative resources bearing capacity of Fujian from1996 to 2005, had been in a state of rich, the economy and water resources were the major bearing resources which carry population and played a supportive role, and land resources bearing capacity must be urgently strengthened.(2)Contrasted the resource bearing capacity with the six province and one city of East China region in 2005. The synthetic carrying capacity of Fujian, Jiangxi, Zhejiang Province and Shanghai city had been in a state of surplus,and the synthetic carrying capacity of Anhui, Shandong and Jiangsu Province had been in the state of overloading. The advantages of Jiangxi and Fujian in the water resource bearingcapacity is obvious. The economic resources bearing capacity of Fujian had been inthe state of overloading, showed that the economic was not fully developed in Fujian which contrasted with the Shanghai city,Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province in 2005.(3)The differences of the relative bearing capacity around the Fujian regional are obviously, the relative bearing capacity of the nine cities is greater difference and the relative bearing capacity also shows a certain degree of change with the passage of time. In northwest of Fujian, the natural resources is a major bearing resources, While in southeast of Fujian, the economic resources is a major bearing resources; The synthetic carrying capacity of the Nanping, Sanming, Longyan and Ningde City in the northwest of Fujian were in surplus state;The economic resources bearing capacity of Quanzhou was highest; Xiamen had largest number of surplus in economic resources capacity; The economic resources capacity of Ningde was lowest and it is also the largest number of overloading; Xiamen and Putian were be in the land resources bearing capacity and in the overloading state.(4)Used the method of the quadratic exponential smoothing, to forecast that the number of surplus people in Fujian Province is about 2.60 million people in 2010.The fourth part is to see the existing problems in sustainable development of Fujian Province from the relative resources bearing capacity. Such as the three the relative bearing capacity of resources is relatively uncoordinated; the arable land were steady declining and in a serious shortage of reserve resources;the way of using the water resources in some areas was unreasonable and the water environmental issues had become increasingly prominent;the main resources bearing capacity in regional was different and the level of economic development was significant;the ecological environment was being deteriorated in the northwest of Fujian, the contradictions of people and resources in the southeast of Fujian had become increasingly prominent; the environmental protection is ineffective, the efficiency in using resources is low.The fifth part proposed some countermeasures. Such as changed the mode of economic growth, restructured the industrial structure, rational used the resources, strictly controlled the total population growth and improved population quality.
