Comparative Study On The Quality Of Life Between Urban And Rural Resident Households

With the development of China's reforming and open up policy, the improvement of People's living condition, studies of life quality have been increasingly concerned by the Chinese Communist Party and the government. As the goal of building a Well-off Society in an All-Round Way in the first two decades of the twenty-first century has been put forward at 16^th Party Congress, the aim and outcome of building a Well-off Society is to improve the living standard and life quality of national people. Also, one of the core contents of people-oriented development, which has caused public concern in recent decades, is to be centered by human life and to aim at the improvement of the quality of human life.At present, China is in its key period of urban development. More than an increase of urban population proportion, urbanization causes the improvement of the living quality of residents. Therefore, under current urban and rural dual social system, peasants are now living quantity of life rather than academically quality in most rural areas. Under such circumstance, studies upon life quality then serve as a basic intent in order to construct harmonious society.Through spot investigation in Jinzai country, Anhui Province, the article discovered and concluded the realistic condition and the existing differences of the quality of life between urban and rural resident households, and analyzed on the influence factors preliminarily. The article contains five sections.The first section includes introduction, research design, general situation of the area of investigation, and sample features. This section mainly introduced related studies upon quality of life at home and aboard, and meanwhile, developed detailed research method on the basis of pertinent theories. Besides, the section simply introduced the area of investigation and sample.The second section includes descriptive study about the quality of life in urban and rural families. This is the first step to study family quality of life. A descriptive study and a study of satisfaction mainly focus on residents' material quality of life, labor, marriage, leisure, and health quality of life.The third section includes study of the influence factors to the quality of life of urban and rural resident households. Through five aspects of material, labor, marriage, leisure and health with related analysis methods, found main factors that influence the quality of life of urban and rural resident households.The fourth section includes study on the difference between urban and rural resident households. Analyzing and explaining it with the use of pertinent theories based on the studies mentioned above, and the conclusion concerning the difference between urban and rural resident households.The fifth section includes conclusion and discussion. Obtaining conclusion from the body text and giving advises on how to improve the quality of life of urban and rural resident households.
