The Study On The Foundation Of Evaluation Index System And Its Application About Enterprise Development Potential

Survival and development are eternal themes of enterprises. Survival is the basis, and development is the ultimate goal of enterprises. Development potential is a primary indicator which is the measure of whether enterprises can develop, and it's also a key factor for enterprises to continue existing. Valuating enterprise development potential scientifically and correctly can provide enterprises which can design sustainable development strategy with scientific basis, on the other hand, it can instruct government and investor to invest correctly. With the globalization of the world economy, enterprises in our country are faced with a more complex external environment. Intense competition and the changeful market have enabled us to re-examine the development of enterprises from a strategic perspective. At present, the ability of sustainable development is not ideal for enterprises in our country, and development potential is still excavated for further. It's still in an exploratory stage for theoretician to analyze and evaluate the development potential of enterprises because they have not put forward a scientific and rational evaluation index system. In the face of this situation, there is a need for us to study enterprise development potential systematically from a strategic point of view, to evaluate enterprise development potential state correctly in order to make enterprise find its own competitive advantage, make efforts to maintain and explore new competitive advantage. All of these are of great practical significance and theoretical significance.In this paper the author clearly defines and deeply reveals the connotation and characters of enterprise development potential firstly, he thinks enterprise development potential is the ability of enterprises to find and excavate latent competitive advantage in order to maintain their sustainable development, Its essential is the ability of enterprises to create and obtain values, and its character is long-term, growing, potential and predictable and so on. Secondly, the author analyzes key factors which affect enterprise development potential from the third chapter in this paper, he points out the main indexes of the external environment include industry growth prospects, market potential; the main indexes of resources strength include technology innovation, human resources and the solvency; the main indexes of operational ability include growth potential of principal products, management ability, the ability of profitability, development ability and operational ability of assets; the main indexes of qualities about corporation culture include organizational mechanism and polymerization of corporation culture, and accordingly the author establishes a index system which evaluate enterprise development potential in the round. In the design of the index system, the author fully reflects the idea that combination with long and short term indexes, dynamic and static indexes, single and multi-level indexes, and explains every index's calculating method, evaluation criterion and designing meaning systematically. In the following chapter, the author expounds how to construct the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy evaluation in view of the frame of index evaluation system of development potential. The author also briefly introduces steps of every method, details the determination of the index weight, and describes how to mark indexes. In chapter 5, the author takes BR Company as an example; he evaluates the company's development potential through index system and evaluation model, and points out the deficiency of the company. In this chapter the author also introduce artificial neural network system in order to predict the quantitative indexes. Finally, the author sums up the characteristics of this paper and points out the possible shortage of the paper.
