The Research On Comprehensive Economic Power And Potential Of Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang And Shanghai

After entering the 21 st century, economic globalization has sped up significantly.As the leader of Chinese economic development,the competition among Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai Provinces has been more and more fierce.At the same time, various incongruous factors became evident, it is necessary to evaluate economic strength and development potential.Comprehensive economic strength is an important symbol of economic competitiveness, also is the basis of regional development. This article is going to interpret its connotation from six aspects,including economic scale, economic quality, the efficiency of economic operation, economic innovation, economic development potential and economic influence. Through the establishment of comprehensive index evaluation system, this article will analyze economic situation and development trend of Guangdong province, and will compare with Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. Mainly using the analytic hierarchy process(ahp), entropy value method, the TOPSIS based on ahp, the TOPSIS based on entropy weight and misty Borda number method to calculate the comprehensive economic strength index of these five provinces and city, and then compared with the analytic hierarchy process(ahp),entropy value method,the TOPSIS and misty Borda number through effectiveness analysis from three aspects, including reliability, similarity,and discrete degree evaluation.As the result, compared with the second economic census, the comprehensive economic strength of Guangdong province have a certain degree of ascension in generally, and Guangzhou province ranked the second, after Shanghai. Specifically economic scale and economic influence index performed well, economic innovation ability needs to be improved, economic quality and he efficiency of economic operation performed not very well, economic development potential performed poorly and the ranking has dropped into the fourth place.Finally, in view of the problems existing in the economic development of Guangdong province, this paper provides analysis from six aspects as well as some suggestions to improve the economic strength and potential and to ensure the competitive advantage of Guangdong province.
