Research On Cooperative Inventory Control System Of Equipments' Spare Parts Based On Demand Prediction

Inventory management theory is one of the oldest subjects in production management, and such an ancient field has been the forefront of the exploration production management is still discussed lively by people in the area of management and academia. Inventory management as one of the development trend of inventory management, also has a long history and important practical significance. Spare parts are the guarantee which keeps equipment in good conditions. Effective inventory management of spare parts will ensure the maintenance activities in time reduce amount of funds used to inventory and improve the economic efficiency of enterprises.For the rapid development of science and technology, new technologies and new achievements constantly used in equipments, the development trend of modern equipment is large-scale, high-speed, processes, sophisticated, electronic, flexible and intelligent. To replace the damaged parts timely, reduce losses in downtime, the appropriate storage and supplying timely of spare parts become an important issue in inventory management. One of the important ways to solute this issue is rational and effective inventory management of spare parts and spare parts with accurate and timely demand forecast.In this paper, we start at the demand prediction of spare parts, use statistical analysis to study the distribution of spare parts' life in equipments, and get the distribution of the demand further. The previous record of the spoil number of spare parts is used in Bayesian methods to predict the demand of spare parts in the future time. From the enterprise point, I put forward a system called "Coordinated Inventory Control System for Spare Parts". The system established between spare parts production enterprises. Put Internet network and system as the operating platform for exchange and integration information. Put the defect prediction as the source control. To integrate decentralized, independent information of maintenance to form a security services platforms. On the platform, the information, process, inventory control and supply of spare parts all become coordination. On the foundation of the system, we will achieve the goal to control the defect prediction, inventory management and supply of spare parts concurrency concurrently. Based on Coordinated Inventory Control System for Spare Parts, the optimization model of coordinated inventory control has been advanced. In the restrained conditions of service level and inventory level point to the binding orders, we can get the solution of the model.
