Environment and trade have become the hot topic in the world today, since reform and opening started, china's textile exports stimulate domestic economic growth, raises the consumers' level of welfare ,but also has brought about tremendous environmental damage to china, we must pay attention to this issue. In order to explore a benign environment-friendly textile exports way, we have to clarify the impact of textile exports and the role of the environment, and search for a balance between exports and the environment.In this paper, use theoretical and empirical analysis method in the research , analyze the relationship between trade and environment , choose several years' data of total exports of textiles, textile wastewater emissions, as well as the per capita consumption ,costs on wastewater treatment .In the first time analyze and the relationship between textile exports and the environment of china, From the trade's scale, structure and technical effects of the textile industry export demonstrate the impact on the environment, it concluded that china's textile exports' the environmental effect is negative, because benefits brought by technology and structure effects are less than the harm brought about by the scale effects in china's textile exports , that means the textile industry needs initial industrial structure adjustment, and need to upgrade industrial technology, also further clarify the necessity of use of advanced clean technologies to reduce the environmental pollution, finally we should strengthening environmental regulatory system construction.
