The human resource is the first resource of the organization, and enough human supplying is the precondition of organization development. How to attract and hold person with ability is a problem of which every manager should think much. Along with the deepening of China's reform and opening up, the Zhujiang River Delta region's economy has sustained a steady and rapid growth in recent years; especially the rapid development of labor-intensive manufacturing, resulting in unsatisfactory of labor supply and unprecedented "shortage of migrant workers" came to the Pearl River Delta.Dongfang Glass Ltd. located in the Zhujiang River Delta will inevitably have to face the problem of the shortage of labor, not only recruitment difficulties, but there were outflows continued signs of internal staff. In the situation of talent competition among enterprises, labor shortage in the supply, stabilize public confidence and attract more staff to service the Dongfang company became the most important issues company need to resolve. Based on the demand theory and the theory of incentives, combined with the concrete practice of Dongfang Glass Company, this paper analyzed and researched the problem of labor shortage of the company.first of all, the paper summarized the economic development situation of Zhujiang River Delta where the Dongfang Class Company located, and made out the background of the shortage of labor in the Zhujiang River Delta.Secondly, the text introduced the basic situation of Dongfang company , including the human resource structure and the situation of labor shortage.Then, based the analyse, there are three main reasons for the shortage of labor of the company, including the rapid economic development in the Zhujiang River Delta, the declining of company's attraction of talent, and the increasing of competitor's attraction of talenttalent. Meanwhile, through a survey and thought to job satisfaction and a sense of organizational commitmen among the staff, the text pointed out that improving staff satisfaction with the work and enhancing the sense of organizational commitment among the staff is the key to solve the labor shortage problem.Finally, about the effective solution to the problem, this paper presents specific programs of perfect staff benefits and increase employee satisfaction, as well as the upgrading of industries in a number of ways to solve the labor shortage problem.
