The 21^st century is a 'rapidly developing century' and so is our society.The prerequisite condition and the consequent result of innovative management are to manage innovatively, the content of which should include the management of innovation.Different from the conservative management,innovative management impenetrate innovation throughout the process of management and enables management to change as technology and the market environment change.Nevertheless,it also requires that the whole organization and its staff be innovative and make innovation the center of their work.Innovation is the endless motivity of prosperity of a country and the guarantee of keeping the advantage of a company in the market competition.It can be predicted that innovative management will be the existing and development foundation of the future organizations.Innovation management helps the company promote fully innovative work and make the individual innovation turn to integrated innovation,personal innovation to group innovation.I have been employed in a company for years and have kept great interest in management.Through further studies,I have improved my management level.This paper is written under the direction of my teacher,Wang Donghua and my other teachers as well as my practical work experience.In the paper,I initially stated the theory foundation of innovative management and its instruction to real work.In recent years,'innovation' is very popular,but the concept of the so-called 'innovation' has not been the essential meaning of the word.It is better accepted in the world now that 'innovation' originated from the book, Theory of Economic Development,which was written by the American Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeter in 1912.In this book,Peter first brought up the concept of 'innovation'. At present,the most representative expression of innovative management is from the American expert,D.Luke and Peter.Luke's definition is that innovation is an action which changes the potential of wealth growth through creating a new kind of resource.The paper introduced the definition and content of innovative management,the rule,performance and the underlying forces of innovative management and the characteristics of innovative management both domestic and overseas.
