FDI, And The Ralationship Of Chinese Economic Growth And Pollution Loss

The relationship between economic growth and pollution loss received much attention from a lot of researchers. FDI is the most important carrier with international economic contact, it's also believed that FDI has a close relationship with pollution loss, and nowadays there is not a country can develop its economy separately, so the research should be extended to involve FDI, economic growth and pollution loss. Most of the researches of the relationship between economic growth and pollution loss are based on the EKC theory with Inversed"U", but the suspicions for it are never stoped. The research of how to balance the relationship between economic growth and pollution loss is an important problem for the developing countries. But up to now, the research of the relationship among FDI, economic growth and pollution loss is rare, and, how to introduce FDI, advance economic growth and control pollution loss is almost not seen on open magzines.Due to calculate the pollution loss from the year of 1989 to 2005, this paper has approved that Chinese pollution loss was not follow the EKC theory with Inversed"U", so the pollution loss's declining after the economy develops to a certain level is not certain. The lesson drawn from other's mistakes of"restrain after polluted"with developed country, and in the condition of pollution loss's quickened growth, we can not expect the pollution loss will decline after the economy develops to a certain level because of the advancement of requirement for environment with people and the change of economic structure, and so on. The academic analyse in the paper shows that technical advancement and accumulation of human resource can restrain pollution loss, and promote economic growth. So, in the precondition of promising economic growth, if we want to control pollution loss, we must hasten technical advancement and accumulation of human resource.In the condition of introduction FDI, the analyzing for the relationship between economic growth and pollution loss is more complex. When carry on the stratagem of sustainable development, we must reduce pollution loss effectually, but if we reduce pollution loss due to heighten the environment standard, then according to the theory of"pollution haven", FDI flowing will be cut down; and if the foreign capital firm and native firm applies the same advanced environment standard, even the native economy will be threatened. So, how can we restrain the pollution effect with FDI, and no harm to introduction FDI and economic grow at the same time?The paper aimed at FDI,human resources and pollution loss in Chinese growth, and put forwards six propositions,all of them have proved by the data between 2000-2005. FDI and environmental loss accelerate economic growth. High human resource promotes economic growth more than middle human resource, and absorbs FDI based on quality. Besides, it's good to pollution loss. Middle human resource can advance economic growth in a certain extent, but the effect of absorbing FDI isn't obvious, and make against pollution loss. Now, the core of absorbing FDI is not only aimed to promote economic growth, but how to avoid the pollution produced by growth and FDI. The core suggestions are accumulation human resource and development higher education.
