Production and processing of tobacco is the basis for the development of the tobacco industry. Tobacco redrying enterprise is the main force of the tobacco family and an important one, whose development maintain the entire tobacco industry's development. As a representative of tobacco redrying industry, Zunyi Tobacco Co., Ltd has in common with other tobacco redrying enterprises.At present, tobacco industry is under the protection of national policy and the market share is controlled by State Tobacco Monopoly Administration. Without market competition, we all tobacco companies needn't worry about survive. In such a monopoly market, we are enjoying the survival with others.However, in the process of the gradual internationalization of domestic tobacco market, foreign tobacco companies will gradually infiltrate into each link of tobacco's production and operation, including tobacco redrying industry .At this stage, depending on the advantages of technology, personnel, hardware and geography etc., maybe Zunyi Tobacco Co., Ltd is in the upper reaches of domestic tobacco redrying industry. However, we should think about our disadvantages, including superfluous working ability, imperfect management system, low management level, bad service awareness, product quality can not meet the needs and less technical staff.With the modern strategic management theory, the paper is to carry out a specific analysis on the macroscopic and the industry environment of Zunyi Tobacco Co.Ltd, and explore the "opportunities and threats" of Zunyi Tobacco Co.Ltd in the present phase. Meanwhile, the competition and the analysis on the resources and strategy of the corporation can help the summarization of the "advantages and disadvantages" of Zunyi Tobacco Co.Ltd in the development. Based on the above analysis, the paper puts forward the development strategic objective and the orientation of Zunyi Tobacco Co.Ltd, which is accorded with the application characteristics of several competition strategies.The research result of the paper not only has great feasibility and practical guidance to Zunyi Tobacco Co.Ltd, but also provides a relaible strategy development thinking for other redrying enterprises and the middle and small size enterprises.
