China has been the member of WTO for six years since its accession to it at Dep.11th 2001 and has maintained over 9 percent economy growth rate. Chinese small and medium-scale enterprises(SMEs), as an integral parts, still keep a strong growth rate even in case of the certain impacts from WTO, involved deeply in international division of production. After the expiration of period of WTO transition by the end of 2006, SMEs began to face an open market environment, in which they have to operate in conformity with current international rules and practices. On the great development of Chinese economy, our SMEs have been frequently subjected to lots of trade frictions and intellectual property disputes, facing severer situation. It is an inevitable stage for corporations'competition in international market. So international models our SMEs use will play a key role to their international operation.Based on the internationalization theories, the paper analyzes SMEs'development characteristics, including the number and total economic output of SMEs, and their regional and industrial internationalization models traits after SMEs'adjustment and development. The paper focuses on analyzing SMEs'superiorities in field of domestic labor force and gathering and weaknesses including feeble anti-risk capability or funds lacking, as well as opportunities and potential threats for their choosing different international models. Then conclusions and some advice come to. Firstly the states are advised to perfect financial system, service system, etc. And SMEs are suggested to certain recommended international models according to different conditions formed by combining superiorities and weaknesses with opportunities and threats. It is of a certain theoretical and practical significance to SMEs'internationalization.
