Research On Injury Insurance About Peasant Worker Of Guangzhou City

With the quickening of the urbanization and the industrialization of our country, large quantities of surplus labor forces in countryside, which come into being peasant workers, streamed to cities. They not only solve labor shortage problems in Guangzhou city, but also alleviate the surplus labor employment pressure found in many underdeveloped areas. And peasant workers make great contribution to Guangzhou city's modernization and promote economic growth. However. owing to various constraints, the peasant workers' jobs are often high-risk and have a high rate of occupational diseases. They lack the necessary labor protection, so peasant workers are forced to suffer these injury accidents and occupational diseases. In recent years more and more injury accidents and occupational diseases are emerged on the peasant workers. Therefore, a fitful injury insurance system for peasant workers should be established by our government.This text analyzes injury insurance problems for the peasant workers by combining the data method with theory analysis. The first part mainly introduces the background and the significance of the article. The second part describes the theoretical research of the peasant workers injury insurance. The emergence of the peasant workers and the reasons of emergence, and summarizes their characteristics. The third part analyzes the main reasons of injury insurance problems for the peasant workers of Guangzhou city. The fourth part mainly analyzes the necessity which solves the injury insurance problems for peasant workers. The binary registered residence system is the institutional reason and the blind of the government to social security right of peasant workers is another important reason. Then this part analyzes the concrete reasons from the government, the enterprise and the individual in the three angles. The fifth part is the key of this text and it addresses the policy recommendations on injury insurance problems for peasant workers. There are some key problems that need to be resolved including reforming registered residence system, expanding the coverage, fixing the treatment and developing various complete injury insurance etc.
