Research On The Relationship Between Business Scale And Enterprise Performance Of Zhejiang "Minitype Giant"

With the transfer of world manufacturing industry, the huge potential consumer market, low-cost HR market, a new round of strong economic growth momentum is ready to be launched; 300 thousand Zhejiang SMEs are facing an opportunity to be "Minitype Giant". "Minitype Giant", which reflects the vigor of Zhejiang SMEs, is the potential of Zhejiang economy.Based on the previous research, we conclude that business scale and technical innovation are usually influence performance of Zhejiang "Minitype Giant". With factor analysis, extracting three factors R&D capability, equipment level and marketing capability from technical innovation; extracting two factors financial performance and non-financial performance from enterprise performance. There are 3 components in research model: independent factor business scale, mediating factor technical innovation and dependent factor enterprise performance.Research has received 125 questionnaires to process empirical study including description analysis, validity and reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis.Empirical study has found that business scale has positive influence on technical innovation; technical innovation except equipment level has positive influence on enterprise performance; business scale has positive influence on enterprise performance; technical innovation serves as partial mediating variable between business scale and enterprise performance. The result of this research has a significant meaning to guide the improvement of performance of Zhejiang "Minitype Giant".
