As China entering into WTO and integrating between foreign and domesticmarkets, enterprises of Zhejiang province especially middle and small types, facemore and more severe competitive pressure on resource, talent and technology, andhow to improve enterprise's technical innovation level and strengthen the scalebecomes the crucial problem in industry and theory field.Based on the advantage of specialized technology and characteristic product,Zhejiang "minitype giant" enterprises show strong energy and strength. Therefore, tosome extent, it can provide a reference for numerous middle and small enterprises toconclude the feature of Zhejiang "minitype giant". As to "minitype giant", whetherenterprise scale (ES) is enlarged, technical innovation level (TIL) will be improved?And remain invincible in the intense competition? What effect does scale of Zhejiangenterprises have on the technical innovation?For the sake of exploring "minitype giant" enterprises' direction, this paperstudied the relationship between ES and TIL of Zhejiang. As we know, although thereare studies on this relationship abroad, such kind of study is rare in China. Especiallythere is no study record about Zhejiang enterprises on this relationship. So it has greatmeaning of initiation and practice. It's hoped that the thesis results can be useful forfuture studies and we can give some study directions in this field.Secondly, this thesis chooses middle and small enterprises, Zhejiang "minitypegiant" and big types as research object. Through analyzing the relationship betweenES and TIL, the figure of Zhejiang "minitype giant" is found. In this step, byReliability Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the four-dimension structure of TIL (R&D Capability, Technology Information Obtain Capability,Marketing Management Capability, and Technical Innovation Motivity) is modeledrightly and the formal questionnaire has good reliability and validity. The big-sampledata is analyzed with the Structure Equation modeling. And Amos 6.0 software isused to validate the proposition model. Result shows that as scale enlarging, R&DCapability, Technology Information Obtain Capability and Marketing ManagementCapability strengthen, and technical innovation motivity strengthen first and thenweaken slightly. Technical Innovation Motivity of Zhejiang "minitype giant" is strong,but Technical Innovation Capability still needs improving.In this thesis, the foreign and domestic documents of relevant content, theappropriate measures of TIL and ES are picked up are studied first, and thequestionnaire had been made. The data of small specimen study is conducted bySPSS13.0 software, including Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to compress thedata and reliability analysis to insure the reliability of these indexes. Then the formalquestionnaire would be planed according to the results of small specimen research.Finally, according to the fact, this thesis provides developing direction forZhejiang "minitype giant" and middle and small enterprises, and some suggestions forenterprises and government.
