Study On The Economic Interaction Between Nanchang And 10 Other Cities In Jiangxi Province

With the economic globalization and the process of the domestic market has speeded up, the competition and cooperation between the regions increasingly deepened. Research on the formation and process of inter-regional economic interaction and Discussion the form and content of economic interaction between cities can help to harmonize division and cooperation between cities, and promote the sustained and healthy development of the regional economy.Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, is the center of the economic, political and cultural of Jiangxi Province, is the only major city in Jiangxi Province, It is can not be replaced and play a important role on the rapid development of Jiangxi Province. Above Nanchang, this paper researches on the economic ties between Nanchang and 10 other cities in Jiangxi Province, in order to understand the radiation and leading role of Nanchang as the capital of Jiangxi province. The mainly content of the study are the following:Firstly, the paper introduces the background and the significance of the research, reviews from domestic and foreign research of economic interaction, the theory basis and methods of this research.Secondly, based on research methods, the paper calculates intensity of economic interaction Nanchang and its 10 cities in Jiangxi Province, then analyzes the results. First the paper calculates strength of economic interaction between Nanchang and 10 cities from 1990 to 2007, then analyzes the results on horizontal and vertical point, to find the reasons. In the end, the use of the road and rail passenger trips from Nanchang to 10 other cities in Jiangxi Province testifies the paper's result, which can reflects better the economic interaction between them.Thirdly, on this basis, this paper chooses Fuzhou which can represents strongly the other cities in Jiangxi Province to discuss the status quo and development paths between Nanchang and Fuzhou. From the perspective of empirical analysis, how important is Nanchang in the economic development of Fuzhou, in order to understand the radiation and leading role of Nanchang as capital city of Jiangxi Province, It can Provide development theoretical basis and reference of economic ties between Nanchang and other cities.Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, the paper puts forward to how to play the leading role more effectively on the economic radiation of Nanchang as the provincial capital city, to promote the economic health and the rapid development of Jiangxi Province.
