Since the Reform and Opening-up, Chinese manufacturing has grown rapidly. You could find"Made in China"everywhere around the world. Chinese goods play an important role in people's lives, so if there is any bad news about"Made in China", it could make a great havoc undoubtedly. What's more,"Made in China"is actually"Assembled in China", which only needs hands, not minds. Then, the image of"Made in China"overseas is very poor.As a tool of management, PR helps to keep a good relationship between an organization and the public through communication. The points of PR conform to our wishes of improving the image of"Made in China". And Japanese did make it in their"Made in Japan".In my paper, I summarize some related research and then prove it is necessary and possible to take some PR's tactics in order to improve the image of"Made in China"overseas. The key is that I make a model based on four PR theories and use it in six aspects to solve the image problem. In the end, there is a case of a Chinese manufacture in which you'll find my model is useful. This paper expands the applying range of PR and provides a new perspective for future research of"Made in China".
