The Strategy Study Of Passenger Transportation Integration In The Metropolitan Regions

Metropolitan regions are produced from regional economic integration, and it could lift important cities'function and competition. Passenger transportation of metropolitan regions is the important part of metropolitan regions transportation and one of the important symbols of realizing an overall well-off society. But with the rapid development of metropolitan regions economic, more and more problems of metropolitan regions passenger transportation have appeared, such as poor transportation facility, irrational distribution, rapid increase of motor vehicles and decrease of public transport, which have attracted widespread attention, and in fact these problems slow down the course of realizing an overall well-off society and implementation of sustainable development. Passenger transportation integration is an effective way to solve those problems and constraining the development of metropolitan regions economic integration and implementation of sustainable development.This paper studies metropolitan regions passenger transportation integration on two levels: theory and practice. From the analysis of metropolitan regions passenger transportation demand characters and connecting with the problems mentioned above paragraph, the request of passenger transportation integration could be educed. In order to realize balance of transportation market and meet the demand of metropolitan area passenger transportation and passenger transportation integration, the author suggests constitute three sustain systems——metropolitan regions passenger transportation integration comprehensive transportation system,effective transportation service system and organization guarantee system. In conclusion, a practical case is given to realize metropolitan regions passenger transportation integration for reference only.
