Study On Development Strategy Of MQH Group Corp. Ltd

This thesis uses MQH Corporation as an example for its case study and makes description, analysis, study, summarize and updating of the strategic management process of MQH Corporation, by means of applying theories and methods of strategy management and economics, as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis. After introduction of the nature of enterprise strategies and present development status of MQH Corporation, the author applies also the PEST method to analyze the external environment of the enterprise, that is, analysis of its industry position and competitors of the MQH Corporation by using the five competition models of Porter's theory. And then the author makes quantitive analysis of the internal and external resources of the enterprise through EFE and IFE matrix. After that, the thesis goes into evaluation and selection of enterprise development strategies by using SWOT method and the QSPM matrix. After all these analysis, the guiding lines and overall development programs of the enterprise are determined on the basis of them. Finally, the thesis introduces in detail the functional strategies developed on the overall strategies of the enterprise, as well as the implementation and effects achieved later on.The following conclusion can be drawn after strategic study of MQH Corporation, MQH Corporation should seize the current favorable opportunity to make a full play of its own advantages, that is, "Building Industrial Park to achieve scale production; Undertaking multiple business through deep and further processing of coal to achieve stronger core competence in these industries; Promoting circulating economy by extending its industrial chain, expanding its management chain, and promoting its value chain through expanding of coal resources, steady production of coke, and smooth supply of city gas, refined chemical products and power generation; Carrying out active mergers and reorganizations to achieve stable expansion of the enterprise, and making it into one of the most competitive enterprise in deep and further processing of coal in China.
