The experiences of economic development in all countries show that keeping the economy fast growth can not depart from drawing of some major industries that the development speed are beyond average growth speed . Through observing the economic development process of all countries in the world, we found that the development of local automobile Industry impacted their native economic development, but it was absolute different that the different development model plays the role of pulling native economy and supporting sustainable industry development. Along with the fast development of domestic automobile industry, it has become one of pillar industry of the national economy. It is more and more obvious that the automobile industry plays the driving role of its up-down and other industry chains, and it has important function for the quick increasing of the national economy.Firstly, this paper analyses the macro-economic and micro-economic environment of domestic automobile industry, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of domestic automobile the industry development. Based on this, this paper not only researches the key factors, such as the technology innovation on auto industry, fostering independent brands, building self-development capacity, the state's macroeconomic policies and industrial policies, which influence the healthy of the development of the domestic automobile industry, but also gives some solutions and proposals. Finally, it lists some views on strategy of Chinese automobile industry development, including the implementation of large group strategy, the market strategy and new product strategy.Through analysing and studying the development of the automotive industry, the following conclusions can be drawn:1. From analysing the necessity and function of building the technological innovation system for Chinese automotive industry, technological innovation system and the innovation programme that should be taken in Chinese automotive industry is brought up, so it lay a foundation for technological innovation for creating a new, more scientific and effective system, and improving the competitiveness of the automotive industry.2. After researching the status of the independent brand management and independent product development in Chinese automotive industry with foreign experience and Chinese reality, some relevant recommendations and measures that would help raise the level of independent brand management are addressed.3. Through the above analysis of the specific issues associated to the strategic management of the relevant knowledge, the key strategies are brought up, including large group strategy, market strategies and new product strategy.4. Through analysing the existing organizational policy of Chinese automobile industry, some ideas related to Chinese automobile industry is brought up, including that innovating the automotive industry policy with the orientation of marketing; speeding up the innovation of the key state-owned automobile enterprises property rights; and creating good auto consumption environment.
