Study On County Region Urban System Planning Of Gansu Province In Transitional Period Of China

China which was considered as a traditional agriculture society running under the planned economy is now coming to a crucial stage of social transition aimed at modernization, industrialization, urbanization and an entirely new market economic system. The transition makes a series of profound impacts on the socio-political and economic structures of China, of which the urban-rural conflicts are now most prominent. There's no exception in the social transition of Gansu Province. Besides the urban-rural conflicts, Gansu has its own puzzles. To solve these problems, development must be balanced to narrow the gaps between urban and rural areas. County as an intermediate unit between macro and micro region is the best administrative geographical unit to implementing the strategy of urban and rural development coordination. And as the foundation and method for the local government to coordinate the development and allocate the space resources comprehensively, county region urban system planning becomes the main carrier of urban and rural coordinated development strategy.This thesis mainly discusses the county urban system planning of Gansu. The main research contents and conclusion are as follows:Analysis the provincial conditions of Gansu province and its counties, and then describes the current situation of county region urban system planning in Gansu and points out the defects of them. Thinks that the provincial conditions should be taken into consideration in the Gansu's county region urban system planning, experiences and lessons which developed areas met in their urbanization should be adopted, important infrastructure configuration and ecological environment protection should be mainly studied and the development of minority nationality regions should be emphasized.Discusses on what requirements the transition brings on the urban system planning, what fundamental realities the planning should based on, how the county region urban system planning can integrated with village system and some relevant planning of other departments.Introduces the major items of the Gansu's county region urban system planning in transition period and does a case research on the Hui County, mainly studies the relevant problems to the research ideas and the planning philosophy in detail. Points out that qualitative and quantitative method should be combined and the research process should be emphasized in the research of county region urban system planning.
