Study On Agricultural Policy Banks Supporting The Development Of Agricultural Economy

Agriculture is very important in the national economy and social development. Using agriculture as a key industry to be supported and protected is the national policy. The key to protection of agriculture is investment. Agricultural policy banks' credit is the important complement as financial resources and the rural commercial finance resources. The capital has clear criterion and direction, with a low-interest and discount, and longer-term. Up to now, the agricultural policy banks had the limited business. The development of agriculture policy banks in our country was even questioned. However, agriculture policy banks, which help government control whole economy, support and protect the agriculture, make up for the market failure, is existent even in the developed Western countries and also an integral part of any commercial financial institutions.This paper will discuss that agricultural policy banks support the economic development of agriculture according to the following six chapters:The first chapter introduces mainly the background and purpose, the research status, research content, research methods, research frame, and so on.The second chapter explains the theory related to agricultural policy banks and agriculture economic development. It includes the theoretical foundation on agriculture economic development, the theoretical basis which give birth to agricultural policy banks, the functions of agricultural policy banks and the role and theory in which the policy banks affect agricultural economic development.The third chapter analyzes the status of development of agricultural economy and agricultural policy banks in our country. The fourth chapter describes analyzes descriptively that in the Agricultural Development Bank supports the agriculture economy in Jiangsu Province, and put forwards existent problems.The fifth chapter, based on the case of Jiangsu Province, empirically analyzes the relationship between the credit of Agricultural policy Bank and the agriculture GDP. It verifies whether the agricultural policy banks supports the development of agricultural economy, and the extent to which these factors impact on the develpment.The sixth chapter puts forwards a number of measures and recommendations according to theoretical research, actual situation, standardized analysis and empirical analysis.
