With austere domestic resources shortage and overseas mining competition, there is important strategic significance to discusses the strategy of mining development overseas.Recent economic growth in china has provided the condition of overseas investment for Chinese resources enterprises. Mature development of free market and strongly growth of national economic power in china improve competitive power of Chinese resources enterprises in overseas market. Meanwhile, abundant reserve of foreign currency and stable exchange rate of Chinese currency also provide mature condition of overseas investment for Chinese resources enterprises. In the other hand, the grow number of overseas investment by Chinese resources Enterprises will improve the reform of Chinese economic system.Based on various theories of overseas investment and cross-national operation, this paper will try to provide instructive advises for Chinese resources enterprises' overseas investment. This paper will mainly focus on researching the case study of Zijin Mining Co., Ltd's overseas investment. It will study four factors related with Zijin Mining Co., Ltd: the situation of cross-country operation, the form ofinvestments, regions distributions of investments and difficulties of investments.Aiming at seeking the best mode for integrating the enterprise' resourceefficiently, all the enterprises in the world faces the same challenges and opportunities, despite their various shapes and different conditions.This paper arranged as follows:Chapter 1 is introduction, it introduces the reasons to study the problem and the meaning,the status quo on this research, it also introduces the study methods and the system structure of this paper. Chapter 2 reviewing and explaining the theory on Enterprises' overseas investment briefly: classical theory on Enterprises' overseas investment, theory on overseas investment based on small and middle sized Enterprises in developing countries, latest development of the theory on Enterprises' overseas investment since 1980 s.Chapter 3 analyzing the external and internal conditions for Chinese resources enterprises to make overseas investment , and their own conditions, then make analysis of the general conditions and particular factors for Chinese resources enterprises to make overseas investment, thus justifying the feasibility of their overseas investment.Chapter 4 applying the research method of on-the-spot investigation and research, taking Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. as an example, and on the basis of the research data , analyzing the experience of Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. in making overseas investment, their scale, form of stock share, regional distribution of investment etc., the course Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd going through the form of their investment, regional distribution of investment, summarizing the characteristics of overseas investment made by Chinese resources enterprises, While discussing the problems and difficulties emerged during this course.Chapter 5 taking several successful regions in the world as examples and making comparative analysis of their model of overseas investment; then achieving some inspirations helpful to our enterprises.Chapter 6 basing on the above analysis, and taking the problems emerged in the Chinese resources enterprises in making overseas investment into consideration; propose some measures and suggestions concerning law, government and enterprise. It summarizes the paper and the paper's innovative points, and it also brings forward expectation of the future research.
