Research Into Quanzhou Private Enterprises FDI Strategies Based On Utilizing Overseas Chinese Resources

During the process of going abroad, quanzhou private enterprises have encountered many disadvantages from both domestic and abroad environment. As a famous hometown for overseas Chinese, quanzhou has enormous overseas resources. So it is meaningful to study how to use the overseas resources for the process of going abroad.This paper has introduced related theories about going abroad for home enterprises using overseas resources and analyze how to utilize the overseas Chinese business in foreign investment action for quanzhou private enterprises. Firstly, it analyses the current developing trend of going abroad for quanzhou private enterprises, especially about the current situation of the process of going abroad. Secondly, it adopts SWOT strategic method analysing the internal factors including the strengths and weaknesses and the external opportunities and challenges. Thirdly, based on the study of the available overseas resources of overseas quanzhou natives own, it proposes several strategies about how to use the strengths, overcome the weaknesses and seize the opportunities for quanzhou private enterprises to avoid the overseas investment risks, including the selections about the district and the industry of investing, also including the ways and the managing models for overseas investing.The main teatures and the innovations of this paper are as follows: firstly, different from the previous studies which focus on the overall strategies for Chinese enterprises, this paper aims at the FDI strategies problem for quanzhou private enterprises which owns it’s special developing characteristics. Secondly, starting from the overseas resources strengths quanzhou private enterprises have, the concluded strategies this paper proposes seem more concrete and targeted.
