Opportunity And Challenge During International Logistics Company Integration

International logistics industry have big opportunity and challenge due to manufacturing globalization and working division simplification. To satisfy customer's global logistics needs, remains global competitive predominance, reorganize corporation business model, constructs corporation updated logistics value chain, enhances corporation share value, big logistics group global integration becomes the industrial trend. Integration between Schenker International Logistics and BAX Global Logistics was occurred under this background.This dissertation use theory which learned in MBA study, including SWOT analysis and Five Force model, to analyse strategic situation and competitive situation in face of third party logistics. At the same time, analyse current background detail during integration period of Schenker International Logistics, then to obtain the writer's own opinion to corporation integration, corporation culture conformity, business development. The emphasis is analyzing opportunity and challenge of international freight forwarding business and contract logistics business in Schenker International Logistics, discussing the business development direction and method after integration.The writer's opinion: there is need for us to pay full attention on the corporation culture conformity during integration, we also need change our service concept to fit marketing requirements, management team should accept each other, corporation resource need be relocated, and overlap business need be optimized.With more and more furious competition, providing the best service for current customer becomes the basis of corporation business. At the same time, with the wake of marketing change, exploiting updated logistics solution, develop new service and products, utilizing core rivalrousness turn into new industry, creating new profit increase point should be Schenker International Logistics long term strategy.
