Modeling And Analysis Study On Enterprise Dynamical Performances

As the development of the global market and knowledge economy, enterprises are facing more and more opportunities and challenges. This multiple environment has brought enterprises multi-dimensional development space, but also the dynamic complexity and uncertainty of the market. With these challenges, managers always fail to know the detailed information about their enterprises, and thus ignore problems in enterprise operation processes, which may lead to even bigger failing in enterprise management. Under these circumstances, this paper studies the dynamic performances of enterprises.Firstly, on the basis of Systems Thinking, a popular method for system modeling, especially qualitative modeling, this paper proposes an improved method, the three dimensional Systems Thinking, to reduce the uncertainty and subjectivity of modeling, and realize more comprehensive analysis and control. It divides the system into three categories, management strategies, controlled objects and output performance, and then studies the system from these three dimensions.Secondly, a three dimensional qualitative model for enterprises is studied, through the core growth engine, management loops and performance links. It mainly studies qualitative models for management loops on growth engine, and for performance links between management loops. With all KPIs and their causal relations in enterprises, this qualitative model could be used for systematical analysis and further quantifing study.Thirdly, the quantitative model for the same enterprise is established. This study is on the basis of the qualitative model. System Dynamics is taken as the main method, and other quantifying methods are used as complement. Meanwhile, this study also uses many quantitative models for reference. The paper lists all KPIs with their definitions and equations, to describe and quantify the relations between these KPIs. There are many enterprise strategies integrated in the quantifing model, helping managers in the decision-making processes. This model could be used for quantitative analysis and further simulation.At last, based on all three dimensional qualitative and quantitative models, this paper does computer calculation and simulation, so as to verify the efficiency of the models. Besides, with other method, Correlation Analysis is used to solve the influence problem, diagnosis problem, and optimization problem.
