A Study On The Statistical Measurement Based On IDA For Energy Efficiency Of Industry In China

With the fast growth of economic and international energy price,the consumption of energy product also raise up in our country.The shortage of energy not only has adverse effect on the economic development and the lives of the people, but also threatens the environment because of the expense massive growth of coal fossil fuel's consumption.It is important to understanding the relations of energy product consumption and economic,to measure and appraisal the efficiency of energy use.It helps to raises the energy efficiency, to achieves the energy conservation goal, to guarant the energy use securityin this background.Based on the above consideration, this article fouces on the industry sector, taking changes' tendency of our country's industry energy use and the essential feature as the foundation. In the summary of formerly decomposed analysis method , the paper proposed a improved one based on the index decomposition analysis which is departed in two process , Introducing and contrasting several kind of index decomposition model ,I chooses LMDI (logarithmic mean Divisia index)that is two-stage decomposition model to synthesize the energy consumption intensity between 1998 and 2006 year in China industry sector to carry on the decomposition analysis.In the first stage ,through decompositing factors and on department-structure and department energy consumption intensity to the energy use influence effect,it obtains the corresponding influence effect index, and analyse the contribution of energy-use with computing energy-consumption intensity index in various industry departments. In the second stage, further decompesing volume effects' in efficiency effect, it obtained the corresponding index.Finally, based on empirical analysis's result, this article is drawing the conclusion :The enhances of energy efficiency is mainly because of efficiency energy-use in China industry sector. Meanwhile,it put forward the proposal to energy-use's link in our country, providing some beneficial references and enlightenment on energy-use efficiency's enhancement and the long-term energy-strategy as well as the alleviation of energy-shortage in our country .
