The Comparative Research Of Regional Performances Of The Innovation Ownership Since 1978 In China

As opening up and reform policy has been implemented for 30 years, our economy accelerated at top speed and people's living standard got remarkable improved. Meanwhile, the difference among regional economies is becoming more and more serious which is the hot issue in theoretical circles. Our regional economic differences can be explained from several points: geological location, natural resources, investment scale of foreign companies, etc. The thesis will focus on the innovation of ownership, which is the core of the economic reform, to research the regional economic disparities by comparing the regional performance difference of the innovation of ownership.The thesis will compare the performance of innovation of ownership by stages and regions. According to the feature of our national ownership, the innovation can be divided into 3 stages: initial stage, development stage and creation stage. Comparative analysis includes two parts: one part is from the time point to compare ownership structure change lengthwise before and after opening up and reform policy. It involves the change of industrial structure, investment structure, occupational pattern, etc. On the basis of the part one, the rest part will do the lateral comparison to the performance of the innovation of ownership from regional point. Specifically, the comparison analysis will be centered on the strength, scale, and results of the innovation in different regions and stages which depends on relative economical indices of the east, the north, the west and the northeast area. In addition, empirical analysis will be introduced to construct econometric model based on the Cobb-Douglas Production Function. The analysis will illustrate regressive analysis of the selected data to show the effect of innovation of ownership on the various outputs of regions. The article has chosen the time series data from 1978 to 1997 and dynamic panel data of 12 provinces from east and west.The comparative results elaborate that there exits major difference of performance of the innovation of ownership among various regions since the opening up and reform policy has been conducted in our nation. Besides, it also shows the internal correlation between the disparity of performance of the innovation of ownership and the difference of regional economy. That means the change of the ownership structure have an effect on the increase of the regional output and its influence is dissimilarity. To the end, the thesis will analyze the reason of difference of performance from other angels, such as political difference, notional difference, and the difference of objective condition. Additionally, some suggestions are proposed that there should be some different emphasis during the innovation in different regions and also should reinforce the extent of the opening among various regions.
