Innovation is the fundamental driving force for enterprise development.The level of innovation capability has also becomfe an important indicator for measuring the comprehensive strength and modernization process of a country."Innovation leads the transformation and upgrading of the real economy" has become the main feature of the rapid development of the world economy today.As the economic pillar of national economic development,state-owned enterprises have an important role in promoting the rapid development of China's economy and the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.In recent years,the scale and strength of China's state-owned enterprises have continued to increase,and the capacity for independent innovation has also increased significantly.However,due to the rigid governance structure and the lack of ownership of state-owned enterprises in China,the innovation ability and innovation motivation of state-owned enterprises are insufficient.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the innovation ability of enterprises through reform.With the continuous development of China's economy,the road to reform of state-owned enterprises is also constantly being explored.After the 18th National Congress,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council proposed to deepen the reform of mixed ownership.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China also pointed out:"Deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises,developing a mixed-ownership economy,and cultivating world-class enterprises with global competitiveness." The reform of state-owned enterprises in mixed ownership has opened a new round of reform and development of state-owned enterprises,prelude.At present,most scholars mainly study the effect of the reform of state-owned enterprises'mixed ownership from the perspective of enterprise performance,but there are few empirical studies on the innovation ability of enterprises,especially the mixed ownership reform and enterprise innovation ability.Starting from expounding the connotation of enterprise innovation capability,this paper attempts to construct an enterprise innovation capability index evaluation system.The system includes five first-level indicators and 13 second-level indicators.The principal component analysis method is used to comprehensively evaluate the innovation ability of enterprises,and accordingly Empirical research on the reform of state-owned enterprises and the ability of enterprise innovation.The empirical part of this paper takes the state-owned manufacturing enterprises listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges in 2012-2016 as a research sample,and uses the difference in difference method to test the impact of the state-owned enterprise mixed ownership reform on the innovation capability of enterprises,and further examines the differences in the concentration of non-state-owned shares.The impact of type on the ability of enterprises to innovate,thus helping to deepen the understanding of the relationship between state-owned enterprises'mixed ownership reform and corporate innovation capabilities.
