China had changed rapidly in the late Qing Dynasty: the Sino-Japenese War broke out and came after the Revolution in 1911 which set the Royal Qing to death. Many enlighten thinkers showed up in this period, Wang Kangnian is one of such people, he was well-known as a journalist, a bissinessman and one of the reform leaders, many people gathered around him and took his newspaper as a place in which express their ideas about the reformation because of Wang's reputation. They came from differernt fields and social class. My paper want to analysize the traits of economic reform according to the correspondence betweem Wang and his opponents, and finally discribe their different opinions on this problem. |
