Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a vital aspect in the process of business, thus is gradually accepted by companies to improve efficiency. It aims at creating values. When companies merger or acquisite , their business and managerial environment changes greatly. After mergers and acquisition, on one hand they should integrate with new environment; on the other hand improve business performance and core competiveness. But, according to the statistics figure, the completion rate of BPR is rather low. The reason for low-rate completion is as follows: first, the tools used in BPR fail because of deviation between the real business environment and people's understanding toward it; second, some companies take for granted that large-scale and comprehensive BPR will be better, as a result its flexibility is not paid enough attention.By analyzing an example in which a telecommunication company implements BPR under the pressure of restructuring, the article manages to conclude some feasible and flexible way to achieve BPR, and the ideas, methods and organization to guide the work of BPR.In this paper, by using the basic theory of BPR, it shows the process, For a particular situation, of the business process analysis, optimization and validation .Finally, it concludes that in mergers or acquisition companies should realize BPR flexibly in specific areas.In this paper, firstly, it describs the background and significance of the BPR research in Foshan Unicom. Proposed that in mergers or acquisition companies should realize BPR flexibly in specific areas.structure of the phase of theIn this paper, discussed the need for Foshan Unicom's network construction process reengineering in the context of merger and reorganization of the fixed network to and the corresponding practical work. Analysis revealed that the whole process in terms of length or the length of time are significantly reduced.Summed up with the characteristics of the telecommunications industry considerations, process reengineering, as well as part of evaluation process. Based on the above research results, summed up a number of methods of the conception, organization, methods, and Environment identifications of BPR,also summed up the consideration and somd Evaluation index of the characteristics of the telecommunications industry with process reengineering. In this paper, on the basis of empirical analysis, proposed the restructuring enterprises should start BPR in specific areas.
