A Research On The Cooperation Pattern Of Chinese Bancassurance

Since the eighties of the 20th century, the international financial market has demonstrated the characteristics of melting, pluralism, integrating, and liberalization , the separated operation of the financial industry suffers great challenges. The three main sections of financial services such as commercial bank, investment bank and insurance business show the trend of integration. Under the trend of the mixed operation of the global financial industry, the cooperation pattern of the developed countries ' bancassurance has broken through agreement cooperation to financial holding company. Under the circumstances, we must study the good experience of other countries' bancassurance and pay attention to the special situation of our country. And then, we should make every effort to study the cooperation pattern of Chinese bancassurance. It is an urgent and significant research.Since 1996, bancassurance of China has experienced three cooperation patterns. They are incompact agreement cooperation, higher level of strategic alliance and financial holding company. Though a few financial holding companies have come forth in our country, they are still very young. On the whole, agreement cooperation and strategic alliance is individually the main and the secondary cooperation pattern of Chinese bancassurance. The cooperation pattern of Chinese bancassurance is on the elementary stage. At present, the financial circle of China is operated separately and administered separately. This policy meets the requirements of Chinese special situation that market economy is still not ripe, the monetary system is not perfect, and the insurance industry is not enough developed. Therefore, to the current context, China should vigorously develop strategic alliances of bancassurance, and work hard to build the real financial holding company. Financial holding company is the inevitable choice of the development of Chinese bancassurance in the future.
