The research explored the impact factor framework of teachers' individual research productivity in higher education, and its effect on different stages of teaching career. For this purpose, the data was collected by the following methods: relevant references analysis; questionnaires and interviews with teachers from the College of Economics and College of Management in University A.The conclusions are as follows:First, teachers of the age group 40-43 of Economics College and Management College of A University are more productive, and they reach research productivity peak at 46-60; more experienced and higher titled teachers have higher research productivity; the research productivity of the male teachers is higher than their female counterparts.Second, impact factors of individual research productivity of teachers in higher education include: Individual Factor, Wealth Factor, Job Factor, Team Factor, and Growth Factor.Third, impact factors of individual research productivity of teachers in higher education have different effect on different career stages. Individual and Wealth factors are closely related to the individual research productivity, though there is no difference across career stages; the job factor is the most effective in the maintenance, exploration and preparation stages; the team factor is the most effective in the advancement and exploration stages; growth factor is the most effective in exploration and advancement stages.Fourth, wealth factor is the most effective for those who have worked for less than 3 years; job, team and growth factors are most effective for the female; wealth factor is the most effective for the unmarried; job factor is the most effective for the married and those who have administrative posts.
