Risk Management Research On ERP Projects Based On The Whole Life Circle

ERP is a combination of advanced management thought and high technology; doubtless, successful implement of ERP is a great help to the development of enterprises. However, ERP brings new information technology frame, but the risk of ERP implementation is very high. Lack of risk management system is one of the main reasons of high failure rate.Through to discern implement ERP project risk, analyse risk urge factor effectively, study on conformity measure with risk, which provide a basic consult for enterprise implement ERP risk management of project and improve domestic enterprises implement ERP project success rate.From the study on ERP project management which faces to Whole life circle,the author analyses definition of Whole life circle of ERP project,phases compartmentalization and content of criterion, Whole life circle theory and ERP implementation was integrated in this thesis. In view of ERP project high risk characteristic, the chart of causality is used to identify the risk of each phase in the process of ERP implementation and demonstrate reasons and content of risk. The article has carried on the comparative analysis to the ERP system implementation risk assessment technology, proposed risk assessment method based on the theory of gray relational degree, and rank risk factors according to importance. The author uses risk management to study risk control of ERP system implementation, including manages process of risk management, control strategy and quality control.A case study taken on will make out the risk of ERP project management at length, and the author also sums up the experience of success according risk management theory. Both ERP companies and enterprises can refer this paper during ERP implementation.
