Bancassurance: International Developing Experience And Reference To China

Bancassurance is the certain consequence of integration of the international economy and finance, and an arrangement of new financial system as well. Having emerging in France in the 1970s, bancassurance, as a financial innovation product, has been a global economic phenomena, and it has been enhanced significantly in the developed countries,such as the Occident and Asia .The experiences from the developed countries in Europe and American exhibit that bancassurance usually come into being on the basis of share ,owing to less limits on product sale and share investment under integration system. With the exception of some special cases, such as Citi Group, bancassurance in developed countries has already showed its global superiorities and priorities in the scope of development model,product design,organization frame etc. As far as our country is concerned, bancassurance has lagged far behind the international level for the absence of the sustainment of law and under the financial system of seperated operation and seperated supervision etc. Therefore, learning from the international advanced and sophisticated experiences, on the basis of our current situation we should make full use of it in the purpose of promoting bancassurance strategical development.With the beginning of the theory of bancassurance,this thesis spells out and gives an analysis ,from the point of economics view,on the background,conception and development of bancassurance. Taking typical countries and institutions as view ,the international experience covers France,USA,Korea and Citi Group,Fortis Group.Eventually, with the comparsion between Chinese current situation and international experience,this thesis makes its own suggestions on learning from others and produces the design of innovation.
