The Exploration Of New Models On The Professional Development Of Rural Cooperatives

Since the application of reform and opening up policy, with the gradual establishment of socialist market economic system and the continuous development of the rural economy, the conflict between small-scale production of tens of thousands of households and the large markets becomes more and more severe. While at the same time, the professional development of rural cooperatives is an effective solution to this conflict. With the promulgation of "Professional Cooperatives Law" on July 1, 2007, the large-scale growth of cooperatives in rural areas has begun to show an irreversible trend.The model of cooperative societies is of vital importance to the survival and development of cooperatives. From the perspectives of the history of cooperatives and party, and the functions of party on the formation and development of cooperatives, combined with the status quo of "Party branch + cooperative" in Sheyang County, this paper demonstrates the advancement and the feasibility of "Party branch + cooperative" model theoretically and empirically, and therefore proposes that this model should be popularized in the wider regions. At the same time this paper digs deep into the development of cooperatives. The author believes that with the advancement of our society and the development of the cooperative mechanism, "Party branch + cooperative" is only one model and one stage in the development of cooperatives. The cooperative should keep self-development as an independent non-governmental organization ultimately.
