With the increase of intellectual capital contribution rate and the enterprises' scramble for the qualified personnel, encouragement and management of compensation show its great values day by day. The purpose of this thesis is to state the special design of compensation plan for senior professionals in Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau (LPEB). It adopts the modern compensation management theories as its guidance, meeting the tendency of modem compensation management and modern principles of the development of enterprises, aiming at encouraging the enterprise senior professionals in terms of initiative, activity and originality. It focuses on the pragmatism, encouragement and competition.There are three aspects in the thesis: i.e. the analysis of current compensation system of the senior professionals in Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau, the design of the compensation plan for the senior professionals, and the study on protective measurements for the senior professionals. It can be used as the reference to the compensation design for the state-operated enterprises and special groups.The inventive points are: 1. According to the reality in Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau, it defines the categories of senior professionals, concluding the characteristics of senior professionals, objectively analyzing the problems existing in current compensation system and reasons of the problems. 2. On the basis of the evaluation of professional titles and investigation of compensation, overall experiences, as well as the features of the senior professionals in LPEB, we designed special plan. Especially, for those compensation of key research projects which can reflect the value of knowledge and intellectuals. Also, we proposed the compensation for the appraisal of technical experts so on and so forth. 3. According to the enterprise situation, we put forward the protective measurements by enforcing the leadership of the organisations in terms of the compensation management, deepening the propaganda of the compensation system, enhancing and perfecting the evaluation system of professionals' achievement. We also expressed the ideas that we need to plan and explore the qualified senior professionals and to expand the enterprise cultural construction so as to guarantee the implement of the compensation plans.
