A Research Of Tourism Strategy For Benxi County Of Liangning Province

As the rapid development of modern tourism industry, tourism development planning has become more and more important. Benxi County of Liaoning Province has very rich tourism resources, such as the natural landscape including mountains, rivers, forests, caves, spring water, lakes and waterfall, and the human landscape including Manchu customs, Taoism culture, historic sites and Revolutionary martyrs' memorials. Benxi County has some advantages of large number, variety, high-grade and ancient-magic resources, which is known as the reputation of "Maple Leaf Village," and "Beautiful Scene of East-Yan Mountains". It is a well-known national tourist destination. However, because of lacking industry operational experience and professionals, there are many internal issues of Benxi County in the aspect of tourism marketing, product development and investment mechanism; what's more, external competition and tourists' growing demand of differentiation trend seriously hindered the development of Benxi County's tourism. As a result, Benxi County's top priority is to develop a viable development strategy, to keep itself an invincible position in the fierce market competition.Based on the competitive strategy and tourism management theory, This article finds Benxi County's opportunities and threats through the analysis of macro-environment and Liaoning Province's tourism Environment, and finds Benxi County's Strength and weakness through the analysis of internal condition, and established eco-tourism strategy of Benxi County's tourism through the SWOT analysis of internal and external environment factors. Furthermore, in order to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy, this article establishes many implement schemes in accordance with the actual situation, in order to achieve sustainable development of Benxi County's tourism.
