Research Of Controlling The Integration Alteration Of The Architecture Engineering Design Process

It is inevitable that engineering changes happened in the project of architecture engineering design in the cause of many reasons, and mostly causes low efficiency and high cost.Engineering changes is related in whole life period of engineering design, and mostly in the period of construction .So the research institute and clients emphasize to put their engineering alteration controlling in this period, while overlook the pre-construction period such as the project decision, project design, the changes and appraisement after the project finished. Never the less, the fundamental reason of most engineering changes is from project decision and project design period, especially 70% of the cost of a project is based on the project design. It is clear that controlling the alteration in the period of project design is an available way to reduce the frequency of engineering changes, the negative influence to the project. It is more significant to control the alteration in the period of project design.In this paper, we expatiated the theory of project engineering alteration management, then we researched various kinds of reasons of the alteration during design process, we analyzed the negative influence of alteration and estimated the scope of alteration. In this paper, we introduced a theory of controlling integration alteration during architecture engineering design process, and we advanced a structure of controlling integration alteration in this process, to pre-control the design alteration, to promote the designer's ability of the possible alteration forecast and judgment, to reduce the disadvantage influence of alteration. In the end of this paper, we gave an example of actual case to testify the theory of controlling integration alteration.We hope to offer reference for Chinese Design units to have a better solution to manage the engineering alteration during their project design.
