Study On The Work-related Injury Insurance In Zaozhuang City

Since Germany established the work-related injury insurance system in 1884, there are 164 countries and regions had established the work-related injury insurance system. As one of the insurance of the social security that developed, legislated and carried out the earliest, work-related injury insurance has become the first social security that most counties arrange to develop. The carry out of work-related injury insurance has important significance to the protection of workers' legal rights, the dispersion of employment injury risks and the promotion of safe production and social stability. Through 50 years of development, the work-related injury insurance of China has established a relatively complete system. But compared to endowment insurance, hospitalization insurance, and unemployment insurance, the work-related injury insurance has not been paid enough attention and still has many problems in practice.This paper takes the practice of work-related injury insurance of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province as an example. The research method is to analyze the problems and causes in practice of work-related injury insurance in Zaozhuang City by comparing the small city scale of Zaozhuang and large scale enterprise of high risk—Zaozhuang Coal Mining Group Co., LTD. This research mainly includes: the distance between the current cover range of work-related injury insurance and the full coverage, unreasonable rate, the disputes in the cognizance, the problems in the settlement of "former employment injury", the incomplete system and abuses in the prevention and recovery of work-related injury insurance in Zaozhuang Coal Mining Group Co., LTD. This paper put forward practicable measures for the problems existing in Zaozhuang City, and also put forward some thoughts on the settlement of system design through the practice of work-related injury insurance in the grass root. The purpose of this paper is to provide some inspiration on the design of the system, so that the problems aroused in the grass root can be settled down as soon as possible and promote the sound and long-term development of work-related injury insurance in China.
