Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been debating by researchers and managers, since it was proposed in 1920s. In today's China, corporations are developing in a high speed with the national economy prosperity, which are going to face the globalization. Accordingly, Chinese corporations have to deal with the problems of CSR. This study will focus on airlines that are one of the core parts in the civil aviation industry. The airlines have the vital responsibility for society, Reform and Opening, and national economy. But the research on CSR for airlines is little and finite in China. So it is expected to have the theoretical significance and practical significance for the issue of the CSR of airlines in China through the thesis.It is supposed to exist difference between airlines and other industries on CSR, thus this study includes the following contents primarily.①Summarized the researching situation of CSR and stakeholders of airlines home and abroad;②Reviewed the CSR reports of airlines which were the international leaders in the industry, then defined stakeholders of airlines and their categories and contents of CSR;③Selected the dimensions and indexes of evaluation, then constructed the model of evaluation of CSR by the method of principal component analysis;④Evaluated the CSR of airlines and analyzed the ordination of the CSR;⑤. Discussed the structure of the CSR model and studied on the relationship between the CSR of airlines and its influence factors such as the competitiveness. This paper used both methods of qualitative study and quantitative study, specially applied the methods of principal component analysis, correlation analysis and grey correlation analysis, which based on the real data of airlines in China.There is the main conclusion of the thesis:①Defining 9 dimensionalities of the CSR of airlines: Safety and Security, Shareholders, Customers, Employees, Government, Suppliers, Environment, Community, and Competitors;②The contribution of foreign airlines is more excellent than Chinese, and there is difference in the CSR of Chinese airlines.③There is different infection for airlines because of the different dimensionalities of CSR.④There is the positive correlationship between the CSR and the performance of airlines.
