The Restructuring Research Of Hai'an County's Textile Industry

The textile industry is the traditional pillar industry of the Hai'an County, and also is the predominant industry of the Hai'an County. During about one hundred years of development, it has established a strong industrial foundation. With China's entry into the WTO, the quota of textile has been cancelled since January 1, 2005 and the global textile industry has entered into an after-quota era. Chinese textile is having a larger market and the textile industry of Hai'an County is meeting a new opportunity of development. At the same time, we should recognize that we are undergoing a global restructuring and facing more drastic competitions with a lot of uncertainty brought by the rapid development of science and technology. Chinese textile industry should actively deal with the new problems of international trade frictions, the foreign currency ratio adjusting of RMB, the descending drawback ratio of the textile exporting and the rising cost of the global oil and the textile materials. How to foster the core competition power is an important problem facing the Hai'an County's textile industry.Currently, with the development of the globalization, we should resolve the problem of restructuring the textile industry to maintain its sustainable and healthy development. In order to optimize and upgrade the structure of the textile industry, we should know well about it. This research will begin with the macro-economic background both of the home and abroad, and use the qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the competition condition of the silk, costume and the other kind of the textile, as well as the problems existing in the industrial structure of the Hai'an County's textile industry. The paper will predict and optimize the structure by using the mode of GM(1,1), on which basis, it will bring forward the optimizing strategy of the textile industry of Hai'an County.It hopes that this research will do benefit to the development of Hai'an County's textile industry and that of the other counties.
