Yuntong highway construction company owns the No1 qualifications of the highway construct contraction . Survive and development is an assignment for discussion. In the face of the market changing unceasingly, it is unavoidable for the enterprise to solute these problem such as how to survive, how to develop, how to face the changes of market and how to utilize the internal and external resource to maximize its profit. It is crucial to set up appropriate development strategy to settle these problems mentioned above. And it is also significant for the enterprise to make the characteristic and sustainable strategy theoretical and practical. Of course in the process of setting up strategy, considering internal conditions and external environment is also prerequisite.This paper expounds and demonstrates how the enterprise establishes its development strategy from five sides. Chapter 1 presented some background on the strategy research. Chapter 2 presented the related theories of enterprise strategy. Chapter 3 presented the brief introduce of the Yuntong highway company and analyzed the present situation. Then it utilized the PEST model and "Five strengths" model to analyze the macro-environment and the micro-environment of the company. At last it used the SWOT analysis to analyze the strengths and weakness, opportunity and threat. Chapter 4 it confirmed the enterprise's strategy direction, putted forward the strategy blueprint and analyzed the feasibility of these strategies with the principle of developing the strength , seizing the opportunity, overcoming the weakness and avoiding the threat. Chapter 5 putted forward some business strategies and the safeguard measures about the implement of these strategies above on the base of the strategy conception mentioned in chapter 4.
