Research On Qingdao HS Corporation's Tactics Towards Technical Barrier To Trade

China is one of the biggest agricultural produce country in the world, after joining in WTO, the tariff barrier has already reduced greatly, that offered the agricultural products exporter an unprecedented opportunity and relatively free tariff environment, but new trade barrier– TBT (Technical Barrier to Trade) comes out in relief and expands rapidly, which is very difficult to our agricultural products exporter to surmount.Qingdao HS Corporation is a company dealing with production & trade of Garlic & the garlic products, TBT, has increased export cost and the price, also reduced export economic benefit and export competitive advantage.This thesis took Qingdao HS Corporation as the research key. Firstly, summarized the TBT theory, and analyzed the influence on agricultural products export in China exerted by TBT. Secondly it expatiated Qingdao HS Corporation 's present situation and the whole exterior trade environment, then synthetically analyzed on the opportunity and threat raised by exterior trade environment,compared the internal strength and weakness, summarized the effect taken by TBT and the problems existing in the corporation. Finally it used the SWOT matrix analysis method to appraise the Qingdao HS Corporation's strategical essential factors under the trading competition in Garlic & the garlic products. Finally put forward and appraised the relative tactics, then chose the optimum tactics for Qingdao HS Corporation towards TBT.
